Investment Objective
The Mutual Fund’s investment objective is to achieve attractive long-term returns in relation to other fixed income investments. The Mutual Fund seeks to offer, at its maturity, the assurance of the invested capital, under the condition that no a credit event occurs with the default of the obligations of the bond issuers and other securities in the portfolio. The bonds that will be purchased at the launch of the Mutual Fund are intended to be held until their maturity and capital gains may arise upon the maturity of the Mutual Fund.
The Mutual Fund has fixed duration and expires on July 31,2026 , i.e. after 3 years after the completion of its submission period.
Investment Policy
To achieve its objective, the Mutual Fund invests in investment grade bonds and money market instruments denominated in US dollars, issued or guaranteed by governments, corporations or supranational organizations such as the US, EU, JAPAN, CANADA, EUROPEAN INVESTMENT BANK, KFW, EU Member States etc. The maturity of the securities, in which the Mutual Fund invests, is intended not to exceed 3 years. In particular, the bonds comprising the Mutual Fund’s portfolio are intended to be held until maturity (buy & hold) in order to ensure the invested capital through the repayment of the bonds at maturity. Bonds maturing before Mutual Fund’s maturity will be replaced by bonds with a corresponding remaining duration up to the Mutual Fund’s maturity date, or by money market instruments.
Secondarily, the Mutual Fund may invest in money market instruments, in deposits and other transferable securities, in UCITS, in other collective investment undertakings under item (e) of paragraph 1 of Article 59 of Law 4099/2012, as well in derivatives, whose currency is US Dollar (USD). Investments of the Mutual Fund's assets will begin immediately after the end of the asset accumulation period. Based on the specific investment policy, the investment risk of the Mutual Fund is estimated to be medium.
Targeted Investors
The Fund is suitable for investors with an investment horizon of three (3) years who wish to invest in a diversified portfolio of selected bond securities and money market instruments, who have basic knowledge and/or experience of financial markets and investment products, who understand and are willing to accept market risk and intend to commit their capital for the recommended holding period of 3 years.
